Re-electionists senators Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla, Jr. and Jinggoy Estrada tops the latest Pulse Asia Senatorial survey which was conducted last January 22 to 26 2010.

The 2 actor-politicians topped the 49 senatorial aspirants for the coming May 10, 2010 elections. The top 12 slot were filled by mostly re-electionists and former senators. The two other actor-politician candidates, former Dangerous Drug Board chairman Vicente ‘Tito’ Sotto III and Senator Manuel ‘Lito’ lapid were in 7th & 8th place respectively.

Senator Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino continues to lead the Presidential survey. In a survey conducted by the Social Weather Station commissioned by the BusinessWorld, Noynoy Aquino got the nod of 42% of the respondents. On second place is still Senator Manuel “Manny” Villar with 35%. In the current survey, Villar cuts Noynoy’s lead from 11% from the previous presidential survey to 7 percent.

On third place is former President Joseph Estrada with 13%, followed by Lakas-Kampi-CMD standard bearer Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro on fourth place with 4%. Tied on fifth and sixth place are Senator Richard Gordon and Bro. Eddie Villanueva with 2% each.
